I have about twelvety DVD's waiting to be watched already, and I'm not getting much free time with my DVD player at the moment. I have no idea when I'm going to catch up.

Big Brother sucks. Putting a guy with Tourettes in the house sucks - they'll pretend it's to help people understand the condition, but really it's so they can get swearing on TV before the watershed and just say 'sorry, he can't help it!'.

Everyone at work is watching.

ETA: I was also squealing "His Dark Materials!" at the TV. It must have been an intentional borrowing-of-ideas, there was too much not to be...rifts between universes that have to be closed, 3-D glasses/amber spyglass to see the 'Dust', boy and girl have to live in separate universes, etc etc...

Hooray for the autumn drah-mah line-up - Prime Suspect, Cracker, Robin Hood, Jane Eyre not-done-by-ITV.

Mind you, I bet they're all put on the same nights, so we have to choose which one to watch and which one to tape. Pft.

Robbie Coltrane & Jimmy McGovern attended the 2006 Summer Television Critics Association Press Tour in America last week to promote the new special which is being called 'Cracker: A New Terror' in the US. According to an article posted on JAM Showbiz, it is due to air on BBC America on October 30th 2006 and early 2007 on BBC Canada.
