Am watching old eps of Cracker recently, tonight we watched the one where Bilborough is killed, very good ep. Which leads me oh-so-neatly (  ) to this.Brand new Cracker, yay!  (More here ) ***********************************

Anyone else watching Dancing on Ice? Or am I the only one sucked in by it?  I loved Stephan and...blonde woman (what's her name?!) dancing with the broom to Mr BoJangles (sp?), and Gaynor's routine was very good tonight too. I felt bad for Kelly getting stuck with the chair though, it's a crappy prop to have to drag around, I bet - and 'ouch' for David's partner, her chin is gonna be very sore tomorrow... ***********************************

That really surprised me too - but I guess if people assume he's going to get oodles of votes, and so don't bother to vote for him themselves, this is what happens.  I do like the ones that are left now though, perhaps with the exception of David, although I suppose he may come up with something good next week and I might change my mind - if he doesn't kill his partner first. ***********************************

How many deaths and injuries have they had, and now they've stabbed Matt. Grrr, the worst thing is, it nearly always comes as a shock when they bump somebody off on this show because there aren't as many spoiler sites as for US TV. |

I was a bit ashamed that I punched the air when Bonnie Langford didn't win Dancing On Ice. When it came down to it her skating wasn't great - she just got thrown around a lot.
I found it hard to believe that it was such a complete rip off of Strictly Come Dancing. I'm watching reruns of "Due South" at the moment and loving every last minute of it. Genius. Thank you kindly. |

I'm not ashamed, I'm glad she didn't win - it's called Dancing on Ice, not Lifting on Ice or Posing on Ice.I'm watching reruns of "Due South" at the moment and loving every last minute of it. *grumble* I have no digital/cable/whatever, so I can't watch, and that sucks cos it was my favourite show for ages.  ***********************************

That's rotten. I have the dvd boxed sets on my wish list - if I ever get them you can borrow!
See Fraser is an example of a "good" character who still has, well, character. If Gallant had been written like that (without the natty coat and hat, or the wolf) I might give a toss what happens to him! |

I actually did buy the video of the eps with Victoria ages ago, but the sound was terrible so I had to return it, and they didn't have another one in stock, so I never replaced it.
I shall look out for the DVDs at a nice price soon, lol. ETA - GREEN WING SERIES ONE REPEATS NEXT WEEK!!! ***********************************

Me too! But we're going away for the long weekend, so I'm going to have to leave tapes on timers for everything, lol. (I'm going to miss 'Dafur' on monday, as S4C is not the same as Channel 4 - should I bother taping it, or am I better off without? )Did you watch Ghostboat last night? It kinda reminds me of an ep of the X-Files I once saw, I think some boat came back out from the Bermuda triangle, and Mulder and Scully went to investigate, and they turned into people from the 40's? ***********************************

I didn't watch any telly at all last night and now I wish I had as Nancy Banks Smith (all hail) in the Guardian said it was first rate. I'll try and catch part two tonight.

Watching "Due South" last night saw a face I recognised but couldn't quite place until right at the end of the show - Barbara Eve Harris who played Chance's mother in the Congo episodes.

Which episode was that? I missed the second part of Ghostboat, but mum taped it so dad could catch up on it, so I might try to finish it sometime. The first part was good though. Much better that all the reality TV we're due to be subjected to soon (Big Brother starts in May usually, no?). ***********************************

"Dead Men Don't Throw Rice" - the one in the funeral home, Fraser in the coffin, Frannie running through the streets in a wedding dress like a loon - and her "fiance" (although I'm sure he had no idea he was her fiance) played by Paul Gross in glasses!
