Neela proves she is ready to be an attending when she and Dr. Dubenko (Leland Orser) argue about the treatment of two surgical cases. Meanwhile, Brenner (David Lyons) has an epiphany about his troubled past. Linda Cardellini, Scott Grimes and John Stamos also star.

(Although when I heard Susan and Anna were coming back too, I briefly hoped for an episode in which an ailing Carter calls up all the women in his life who were not all that into him. That could have been a hoot.) Also, although I've clearly never been an Abby fan, I have to give MT her props. She has handled her exit from this show gracefully and professionally. If she agrees to a cameo as part of PN's farewell (as GV did for her own), it's another indication that she's got class. I doubt I'll watch this epi (and, sorry, I can't stand Rescue Me), but I'll keep an eye out for both MT and PN in the future, hoping they get better material than they've had on ER the past couple of years.

I agree about MT cameo for PN as gracefull and nice the way GV did it for her , the way Clooney did it for JM. The cast ( most of them) have expressed they are a real life family so I can see them doing this for each other and I think is very nice.

And to answer your question, Pandorama, Abby was in ..one promo, the only one I've seen, next to Benton...Carter and ...one or two more I didn't get (was Clooney one of them?). So she'll definitely be back.

I get the feeling they filmed that when they had the loft set empty.. I have a friend whos a fan of Carter.. needless to say we dotn talk much ER -- but she says to me " you think all these peopel suddenly where called in and said ok yes ill do it a few days ago..oh honey that was long planned ahead and in pen and paper at least a year ago... i have to say she may be right. Maura did said recently ER was behind her at and that she was goign to start filming Rescue Me.

I know this is paranoid of me, but the picture cuts off just above her left ring finger and I can't tell if there's a ring on it or not...they wouldn't do that to us, would they?
