Oh - I'm sooo with you about "escaping online "

While I never understood what made Doug and Carol special ( other than the fact that they were there from the beginnig and were both part of the main cast so probably one of the first attractions back in '94) Luka and Abby have a not so ordinary story. They were both presented as good people who just been through a lot of bad things; and while Luka was still hoping for the better and never gave up, compromising himself as much as he could so he can be with someone, Abby was the biggest pesimist who believed she's a magnet for disasters. I loved them because they were practically together only during the night and almost seemed ashamed of each other, never quite being able to act as a couple. It was like...the magic of each night was gone as soon as the Sun made an appearance.

Just what is going on in Croatia?

At the end of last episode, we saw them at the airport, seeing eachother for the first time in over a month; while Luka smiled when he saw her and immediatly acted like he used to, as if "everything was forgotten for a moment" (liek we got from the spoilers) as soon as he took her in his arms his smile faded, as he remembered there was something he needed to know. With Abby, it was the other way around: she first has her eyes fiiled with fear, like she knew it was time to tell the truth, but after a few seconds in his arms, she shakes all the bad thoughs away and just enjoys his presence.

So. I'm thinking that it's Luka who opens up the subject - again. The last spoilers revealed that Luka not only knows about the cheating but about Moretti as well. But I'd guess that the photo is taken before the confession, because as soon as they get back to the States, Luka doesn;t feel like pretending and Abby describes him as angry and distant. So I don't think he'd be willing to pose after something like that.

And, not to be indelicate, but how's the frigidity thing working out?

I think it's still there; he was home for a least a month - I think - before the events in 300 Patients, when Luka not only said the "we barely touch each other line" but also that when he got back, he thought they just needed to get used to being married again and when things got worse he...thought that another man was involved (or at least that's how I saw that line). Their sexual relationship had always been good and managed to patch up a lot of things so I think that when they'll be able to get that intimacy back, they'll going to start working for their relationship. I'm not implying that that's the only thing they have, but that's the part with the problem now.
